River Runs

Anna takes her son Ethen and his best friend Caleb, and Ethen's girl friend Chelsea to the zoo, as a celebration of school being out. They quickly find themselves in despair when they learn they are being bombed. Things get worse when they learn that their car has been stolen and there is a lion on the loose. Anxious to get home they seek out the help of a stranger, Edward. Edward takes them up the river in his boat in search of their families. When they arrive home they are heartbroken at what they find. Twelve years later Ethen and Caleb find themselves in a situation that bring them back to when they were ten. They come out of the woods from camping to learn that the power has been out for more than twenty four hours and society isn't responding well. They soon realize that the world around them has turned into what seems like a bad horror movie. Only it's not a movie it. The men once again find themselves forced to seek refuge on the river. Only this time is not like before it's much more dangerous.
